How It All Started

The Hutch Agency was founded from scratch in Proctorville, Ohio, back in 1995. Jeff Hutchison started it with one clear goal: to be the community's source for caring people and professional advice. From day one, we believed insurance should feel approachable, not intimidating. That belief still drives everything we do today.

In 2014, we expanded into Lexington, Kentucky, one of the first agencies invited to join ERIE's growth into the state. Since then, we've grown into a team that serves thousands of clients across seven states. We've added more caring staff and more top-rated carriers along the way. But our mission has never changed: to be there for you when it matters most.
